The Governance Checker saves progress including your role, context and answers in localStorage for up to 48 hours. It can survive closing the browser. Shared links contain score and result payloads only, as generated by the current implementation.
Practical resources and the Governance Check open immediately when you enter your email on the page. There is no account, password or access email to wait for. A necessary browser cookie remembers access for 60 days. After that, enter the same email on the same page again. This is an email-capture gate, not identity verification or protection against sharing.
Browser sessions contain a random identifier, not your email or answers. Submitted email addresses are used for the separately disclosed mailing audience. We do not attach your email to checker answers, contact you about individual answers, or use answers to personalise marketing. Older access-request records may remain until removed; we do not promise a fixed deletion time. They no longer grant access.
Our mailing lists are hosted by MailerLite. As explained at the access gate, submitting the Practical Resources form adds your email only to our Practical Resources list. Submitting the Governance Check form adds it only to our Governance Check Access list to understand sector access, not to Practical Resources. Neither form adds you to the separate Newsletter list. We send relevant updates no more than once a month: new practical resources and guidance for Practical Resources, and governance guidance for Governance Check Access. Each update includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing does not remove your access. Checker answers are used only for aggregate sector insight and are never attached to your email for marketing or contact about your answers. If mailing-list registration cannot be completed, the request is retained for follow-up, with no automatic deletion date, and the access flow tells you it is pending. Existing unsubscribe choices are respected. To ask for removal, email hello@aifornonprofits.org.uk.
There is no online contact form. You can contact us, including newsletter enquiries, by email at hello@aifornonprofits.org.uk. Please do not include sensitive personal, safeguarding, case, or confidential organisational information.
Usage analytics are separate and never include Governance Checker answers. After checker access and the explanation at the gate, each selected answer can contribute one fixed question-and-answer code to aggregate sector insight. An explicit choice of No answer trends is respected. Contributions exclude email, role, organisation and personal identity and are not linked to the access cookie.
